June 6th.....Jan and I had decided on Monday not to go to Oklahoma this week since there would be no activity except the plumbing going on. However, after hearing from Mom that the lumber was delivered for the deck but nobody was at the house working, we decided the safe thing to do was go on up and take a look. We also knew that if I could borrow my cousin's dump truck one more time, we should be able to clean all the garbage lumber off the hangar pad. I was also concerned that we needed to get signed lien releases from all the subs that have worked so far. We got the dump truck for one day and were able to load it completely and get it back to my cousin before dark. The hangar pad now looks like it is ready for concrete and a building. I will try to call the metal building contractor by the end of this week. |

| Before leaving to go back to Houston today, the plumbers arrived back on the site and started working. They have started installing some of the bathtubs and hope to be finished early next week which will allow the electrician to come in and get started with his work. | |

Also, since the dirt guy had not shown up or returned
any of our phone calls regarding coming out and installing the septic
tank, water and electric lines and putting in the driveway, we had to
call in another dirt contractor. Luckily, the neighbor across the street
(who is in the dirt business) was available and able to get started immediately.

| Jan even stopped long enough to smell the flowers on this trip. Of course the flowers are the wildflowers just outside the house! (I couldn't let her get too far away from the worksite just in case something needed her attention.) | |
