July 6….Well, I almost finished the deck. I did finish the north side along with the stairs leading up to the front door. There is a landing just over halfway up and then the stairs turn and go directly onto the deck. We have measured the deck and it has turned out to be about 1500 sq. ft. I was able to finish all but the last 200 sq. ft. of flooring. Jud will finish that while I go back to flying and when we get back up to Oklahoma, we can start working on the hand rails. Next week, the electricians should finish up on Monday and the HVAC guys can come in and get out very quickly. At the same time, the mason will get started on the chimney and fireplace. It seems that things have slowed down, but now the pace should pick back up. If we can just get the Satellite cable installed, then Jud, his wife Carol, Jan, and I can get the insulation in so the sheetrock guys can get in and started. If that isn't enough, the hangar has been ordered and we should start that process very quickly. As the hangar develops, I will start posting information on the hangar section of the website so it doesn't get too confusing.
