With only two days to spend on the house project this week, we had to schedule our time wisely. Judd is continuing to work on the cabinets and it has been great to design the large kitchen island in the actual space. We ordered the interior doors and after much research we choose a 4-panel pine door that will be stained.

In all our "spare time" Charlie and I waxed the airplane so we could fly it back to Houston, but with a hurricane in the gulf we opted to leave it in the hangar and fly commercial. The painter's helper was supposed to work all week but he was a no-show this week.

In Houston, we do a little shopping for the kitchen sink and faucets which we will need before the granite can be shaped. I think I know exactly what I want until it is time to make the purchase. After much deliberation, we decide on a stainless undermount sink by Elkay and faucets for the kitchen by Delta. One more decision made!
