Week 43 - December 2-6, 2002

I had a long layover in New York this week, so Jan went with me. The weather there was clear, but incredibly cold! We walked to Rockefeller Center to see the ice skating rink and Christmas tree and found them building the stands for a concert in the park that was to be televised on NBC two days later. It was interesting to see the show, but we don't know how those people stayed outside at night with the weather as cold as it was.

Getting back to Houston, I found out the rest of my flight crew was continuing on with the trip to Tulsa, so Jan and I just kept going and went on to Tulsa, picked up the truck and drove on over to the site. (I guess I can call it a house now instead of a building site.) We went directly from Tulsa to Ft. Smith, Arkansas to make a final decision on flooring. Of course there was snow on the ground and after New York, we just never seemed to get warmed up.
Before leaving, we met with the lawyer who is still helping all he can even though David (the idiot) Stratton declared bankruptcy so he doesn't have to meet any financial obligations. I still plan on continuing with the criminal charges and we also met with a bankruptcy attorney to help file the necessary paperwork to have Stratton's fraudulent acts exempted from the bankruptcy. Next week…………RED IRON for the hangar!
