We are currently enjoying a good gospel meeting
with Wayne Chamberlain and his wife, Debbie, of Richmond, Kentucky.
Following is Wayneıs latest report to serve as a refresher.
From: WCham9000@aol.com
Date: Thu, 19 Oct 2000
Subject: Sept. 2000 Brief
Dear Brethren,
The new house is now framed up and enclosed and has the tar paper on the roof. We would
like to be in it by the first of the year -- but we are not holding our breath.
We are having a gospel meeting/Bible lecture series next week with Bill Bryant from Paris,
Kentucky. Hope to get some contacts out of this.
Debbie and I (and the children) are going to take a two day vacation this weekend (our
first in almost two and one-half years). We are going to the area of the Smoky Mountains
to a place called English mountain. They have nice condominiums that they rent (fully
equipped with kitchen, etc) for a very reasonable price. They are on the side of a
mountain. They have large windows for viewing the mountains. They are hiking trails, etc.
nearby. The closet store (little country store and grille) is about five miles away. It
will be a nice getaway.
Next month (Nov.10th), Debbie and I will be flying to Texas for a weekend meeting. The
church in Humble, Texas supports me and wants me to come out and hold a three day meeting.
STUDIES:
Jamie Smithıs mother - I have inquired about her a few times, but it seems that
the prospect of attending church services regularly has made her lose interest in
studying. Hopefully this will change.
Doug Abney - Doug has almost lost his job, but was finally assigned to 3rd shift.
He has been very busy with his children, etc. We hope to resume our studies soon.
Steve and Jamie - We are going to begin studying again after our Bible Lecture
series.
Julia Benson - Our studies are still going well.
Brotherly,
Wayne Chamberlain

Wednesday AM Class
The following are observations. Maybe painful
observations. Sorry. But, facts are facts. If you have a low threshold of pain, you may
want to skip this section.
Why some do not attend Wednesday AM class:
1. Working
2. Unable due to health
3. Habitnever have. Or, once did but quit.
4. Young children at home
5. Too busy
6. Other things rather do
7. Other things scheduled
8. Not interested
9. Donıt have to in order to go to heaven
10. Not enjoy it.
Reasons why some DO attend:
1. Want to
2. Need to
3. Ought to
Maybe the above lists do not fit your situation? If not, you can add your own
reason. Maybe it would be a good thing to do, and then discuss it with your heavenly
Father. He knows anyway, you know. Why do you attend or not attend? (Choose one of
the above or add your own.)

"And there is no creature hidden from His sight,
but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do."
Hebrews 4:13, NASB.
"the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness
and disclose the motives of menıs hearts" 1 Corinthians 4:5, NASB.
