GRIFFS TAKE HOME OPENER - ICE DOGS SKATE FOR FIRST TIME !

In
light of the fact that many of the Ice Dogs were meeting their team mates
for the first time while lacing up skates in the locker room, having never
skated together as a team before, experimenting with line configurations
and switching D's for Forwards and such on the fly during the game, and
skating three players short (any more excuses?) - the Ice Dogs made
a Noble and Honorable showing in their first HHA game !! The Dogs
are off the porch - it will only get better from here! More
tuning, line adjustments and some experience playing together will pay off
soon.
The Griffs just came off their HHA championship game, had the best HHA team record, have skated together as a team for several years and seemed to be a bit over handicap (how many 7's out there?) - clearly showed their practiced skills as last seasons best team ! Congrats go to the Griffs. |
