Game #3 Report (7/31/00)

ICE DOGS STING THE KILLER BEES 7-5 !!

Report - The Ice Dogs enjoyed the first ever franchise Victory Monday night, as the team stung the Killer Bees 7-5 in regulation play.  The Dogs got down 0-2 very early in the game but finally pulled it together as a working team to tie, and then take the lead in the 2nd period - keeping the lead for the rest of the game!

Scoring Report - Congratulations to Tony Valdavia for his HAT TRICK - including goal #7 on the open net ( with a Bee D attempting to step in as Goalie! ).  Steve Stefanski powered in a left lane slap shot which found the right pocket right-on.  Bruce Maier found Malcom Fowler with a cross ice pass for a fast in the slot goal.  Thanks go to Wade, Jiri and Patrick for their scoring contributions !!  Great game guys - the Ice Dogs continue to improve significantly from game to game !  Arf Arf Arf !

Stay tuned for Game #4 - August 7th !
