Game #5 Report (8/8/00)

CAVEMEN COME BACK 10-7 OVER DOGS 

Report - Tony Valdavia comes thru with his 3rd Hat Trick of the Season in Game 5 - and the Ice Dogs enjoyed a 5-4 lead mid-way, but the Cavemen pulled it out in the third.  The Dogs were shootin' consistently, except consistently real high - like directly into the Goalies face and over his shoulders !!  

The biggest surprise came for the team when it discovered that 5 Dogs were unable to make Game 2 against the Cavemen Tuesday - and - the Cavemen (after being Pounded by the Dogs) Monday, showed up with 2 recruits (Ringers - not in Cavemen Jerseys ?) who were able to engage in some very productive 3rd Period scoring, to pull out the 10-7 win for the cave dwellers.  

The Ice Dogs are off to a good start for their first season as a team - keep it up guys !!
