LSU PEACH BOWL HISTORY 1968 LSU 31, Florida State 27 Mike Hillman of LSU passed for 229 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tigers to a comeback win in the first Peach Bowl Classic. The Seminoles jumped to a 13-0 first half lead in cold, rain-swept Grant Field before LSU unleashed its attack which featured Hillman's TD passes.
