Welcome to my MIDI page, home to some of the best MIDI sequences you will hear on the web.

Music is an essential part of my life. I find MIDI sequencing very rewarding. More than just a creative hobby, sequencing has given me a taste of what it takes to do play and record music for a living. I am not a professional musician by any means, but those who are have my respect.

My favorite genre of music is classic rock, and this is reflected in my sequencing. I am also a fan of 80s pop and New Age music, and I listen to music from many other genres as well.

NOTE: In November of 2001, I bought a new electronic keyboard, the Yamaha PSR-550. This is a mighty fine MIDI-enabled keyboard, and I plan on having all sorts of fun with it. When I started playing with it, however, I realized that some of my MIDI files needed lots of work in order to sound decent on the PSR-550. After retooling a couple of sequences, I then realized they no longer sounded all that great on the other players I use! To get the best of both worlds, for some songs you will see two sequences, one labeled "MIDPlug Optimized" and the other labeled "PSR-550 Optimized." MIDPlug optimized sequences are better suited for Yamaha's MIDPlug soft-synth for Macintosh and Windows computers, while PSR-550 optimized sequences are tailored to the PSR-550 keyboard. For other MIDI players, one or both sequences should give a decent performance.

All compositions are the copyrighted property of their respective writers. It is not my intention to make any profit from these sequences. They are freely distributable, with the conditions that they are not to be altered without proper credit given, or sold for profit.

Note that I am always modifying my sequences to make them sound better. Keep an eye on the dates of your favorite songs to see if I have made any changes.
